About Arshadul Qadri

  • Allama Arshadul Qadri (5 March 1925 – 29 April 2002) was a Sunni Islamic scholar in India associated with Barelvi movement.
  • He founded several institutions and organizations inside India and prominent among them are Madarsa Faizul Uloom Jamshedpur, Idara e Shariah, Patna, Jamia Madinatul Islam, The Hague, Netherlands.
  • Darul Uloom Amjadia in Mau, Uttar Pradesh, and Jamia Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia in Delhi.
  • He is known for two of his works, Zalzala and Zer-o-Zabar against the Deobandi movement and its founders.
  • On the international level he organized a number of religious movements, such as World Islamic Mission, Dawat e Islami Also, which is an umbrella organisation for Barelvi in the United Kingdom and in Europe. Allama Zia'ul Mustafa Quadri has written a biography of Arshadul Quadri entitled Hayat-o-Khidmat (Life and works" of Huzoor Sadrush Shariah).
