Atsushi Sakahara (?? ?, Sakahara Atsushi, born 27 August 1966 in Kyoto) is a writer, film director, producer, and entrepreneur.
He is currently representative director of Good People Inc, based in Kyoto.
He is the author of several books.
In 2004 he founded the Japanese company Good People Inc.
to help with his work in film-making.
He is a survivor of the 1995 Sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway.
He produced a Palme d'Or winning short film, Bean Cake, 2001.
He started shooting a documentary on Aum Shinrikyo.The film was invited to Hong Kong International Film Festival HAF WIP lab and won G2D Post production Award 2018.
