About Marlene Willis
- Marlene Willis (January 13, 1942 - March 29, 1982) was an American actress, born in Harris County, Texas, who appeared mainly as a guest star in various narrative television series in the 1950s and '60s, such as The Andy Griffith Show (in the 12th episode, "Stranger in Town"); Maverick (in the 4th season episode entitled "Flood's Folly" with Roger Moore); Bourbon Street Beat; Wagon Train; Laramie; The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis; The Dick Powell Theatre; and The Loretta Young Show.
- She also appeared in the theatrical features Rockabilly Baby (1957) and Attack of the Puppet People (1958).
- Willis sang the theme song in addition to portraying a character in the latter film. Willis died of cancer at age 40 in 1982.
