About Babu Singh Kushwaha
- Babu Singh Kushwaha (Born 7 May 1966) is an Indian politician in Uttar Pradesh.
- He was one of Mayawati's most trusted "backroom boys", and a senior member of the UP cabinet. On 7 April 2011, he was forced to resign after being implicated in the murder of two chief medical officers, BP Singh and VK Arya.
- Both were shot dead by two assassins on motorcycles, in central Lucknow, in broad daylight.
- The same gun had been used in both cases.
- It was alleged that their honesty was coming in the way of a political mafia who were skimming off large sums from the health services.
