James Richard Baird (born June 4, 1945) is an American businessman and politician who serves as a Republican member of the U.S.
House of Representatives from Indiana's 4th congressional district.
Before being elected to Congress, Baird served from 2010 to 2018 as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives.
He previously served as Commissioner for Putnam County, Indiana from 2006 to 2010.
