- Robert Benjamin Thorpe (November 19, 1926 – October 30, 1996) was a Major League Baseball right fielder.
- Thorpe played at the Major League level with the Boston Braves in 1951 and 1952.
- He remained with the team through its move to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to become the Milwaukee Braves.
- Later in his career he played in the Detroit Tigers organization and would be traded to the St.
