  • Brendan Edwards (born 18 March 1936) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) from 1956 to 1961 and again in the 1963 season.
  • He won their best and fairest award in 1960 and represented Victoria at interstate football in the same season.
  • After he was seriously injured and he retired as a player in 1963, he founded a chain of health clubs in Melbourne and pioneered the concept of aerobic fitness in Australia.
