- Clarence Albert Short (July 1, 1873 – March 7, 1947) was an American college football head coach who was Delaware football program's third (and fifth) head coach.
- He led them to an 8–7–1 overall record in two seasons coached.
- Short was also assistant professor of Mathematics and Civil Engineering during his time at the university.
- He was also serving as president of Wesley Collegiate Institute in 1926.
