About Augusto Lauro
- Augusto Lauro (born November 29, 1923) is an Italian Prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. Lauro was born in Tarvisio and was ordained a priest on June 29, 1947.
- Lauro was appointed Auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Cosenza on September 8, 1975, as well as titular bishop of Bigastro, and ordained October 28, 1975.
- Lauro was appointed bishop of the Diocese of San Marco Argentano-Scalea on April 7, 1979 where he remained until his retirement on March 6, 1999.
