About Colin Fennelly
- Colin Fennelly (born 25 August 1989) is an Irish hurler who currently plays as a corner-forward for the Kilkenny senior team.Born in Ballyhale, County Kilkenny, Fennelly first played competitive hurling during his tenure at Scoil Aireagail.
- He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Kilkenny minor team before later joining the under-21 side.
- He joined the senior panel during the 2011 league.
- Fennelly has since become a key member of the team and has won four All-Ireland medals, three Leinster medals and three National Hurling League medals. As a member of the Leinster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions, Fennelly has won one Railway Cup medal.
- At club level he is a one-time All-Ireland medallist with Ballyhale Shamrocks.
- In addition to this he has also won two Leinster medals and four championship medals. Fennelly's uncles, Ger, Kevin and Liam, and his brother, Michael, have won twelve All-Ireland medals between them with Kilkenny.
