About Denis Leng
- Denis Leng (born 26 November 1934 in Pudsey, Yorkshire, England) is an English-born Irish former cricketer.
- A right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler, he played six times for the Ireland cricket team between 1966 and 1968 including one first-class match.He made his debut for Ireland in September 1966 against the MCC in what was his only first-class match.
- He played three matches for Ireland in 1967, against Worcestershire, the MCC and the Combined Services.
- He played twice against Australia in July 1968, which were his last matches for Ireland.In all, he scored 6 runs at an average of 1.50 in all matches for Ireland, with a top score of 3 not out in his penultimate match against Australia.
- He took eleven wickets at an average of 37.36, with best innings bowling figures of 3/60 against the Combined Services in August 1967.
