- Dinanath Tiwari (born 1951) is an Indian politician, advocate and lawyer.
- He is the President of the South Mumbai district of the Indian Bharatiya Janata party, or BJP.
- He began his career in the youth wing of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, a nationalist Indian political party.
- He is currently running for elections in Mumbai.He was active in the Youth Wing of BJS and was a student of Patuck Technical High School at Vakola Bridge.
- He was subsequently a student of Kirti College, Dadar, where Dinanath Tiwari took keen interest in student politics and where he participated in community service.
- During the mid 70s he opposed The Emergency, which imposed severe restrictions on the fundamental rights of India.
- He joined the movement of Shri.
- Jaiprakash Narayan during the emergency and was a youth leader of the Janata Yuva Morcha.
- During this time he was influenced by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a later prime minister of India.
- Tiwari was among the founding members of the BJS' successor, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
- While still remaining active in politics, Dinanath Tiwari chose to practice as a lawyer in the Mumbai High Court.
- He has fought many legal cases, although some accuse him of being an "in-house" lawyer for the BJS party.
