Donald Marshall Carpenter (March 6, 1894 – April 4, 1940) was an early naval aviator in the United States Navy flying from the USS Langley (CV-1) and USS Lexington (CV-2).
These were the first two aircraft carriers of the U.S.
Navy.
He graduated from the U.
S.
Naval Academy in the Class of 1916 representing Pennsylvania.
