About Emil Hanson
- Emil Clarence Hanson (November 18, 1907 – May 16, 1955) was a professional ice hockey defenceman.
- He played in seven NHL games for the Detroit Red Wings.
- He was born in Centerville, South Dakota but the family later moved to Camrose, Alberta.
- Emil had four brothers who were also ice hockey players: Julius, Joe, Louis and Oscar Hanson.
