- George Cortez (born February 11, 1951) is the former offensive coordinator for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League.
- He was the offensive coordinator for the Saskatchewan Roughriders previously, as well as a former head coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
- His coaching career began in 1979 where he was the offensive line coach for the Rice Owls of Rice University.
- In terms of professional football, he has also coached in the Canadian Football League for the Montreal Alouettes/Concordes, Ottawa Rough Riders, Calgary Stampeders, and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
