  • (September 4, 1925 – December 16, 1979), nicknamed "Mugs," was one of four presidents in the history of the Chicago Bears franchise of the National Football League (NFL).
  • He was the son of George Halas, who was a player, head coach, and owner of the Bears, and the co-founder of the NFL, and Minnie Bushing.
