About Moses Ndiema Kipsiro

  • Moses Ndiema Kipsiro (born 2 September 1986 in Singare) is a Ugandan long-distance runner who specialises in the 5000 metres.
  • He was the bronze medallist in the event at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics.
  • He represented Uganda at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, coming fourth over 5000 m. Kipsiro has won medals in the 5000 m at the African Championships in Athletics and the All-Africa Games.
  • He completed a 5000/10,000 metres double at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
  • He is a four-time Ugandan cross country champion having won every race from 2008 to 2011.
  • He is the Ugandan record holder for the 3000 metres and 5000 metres on the track, as well as for the 10K road distance.
