Patrick "Pat" Vasquez-Vegas (born March 17, 1941) is a Native American-Mexican musician, vocalist, writer, and producer of the legendary REDBONE, known for their hit singles "Come and Get Your Love", "Witch Queen of New Orleans", "Maggie", and "We were all wounded at Wounded knee".
He has played in numerous ensembles which include Pat & Lolly Vegas, The Avantis, and Redbone.
He was featured in the NY Smithsonian along with his brother Lolly and band mates for being the first Native American rock group to have a No.
1 single.
He has written for the likes of Tina Turner, Bobby Gentry, Sonny and Cher, and more.
