About Mathieu Turgeon
- Mathieu Turgeon (born August 2, 1979) is a Canadian trampoline gymnast, born in Pointe-Claire, Quebec. Turgeon won a bronze medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in individual trampoline and qualified for the 2004 Summer Olympics but failed to make the final.
- He is noted for performing very difficult routines.Turgeon retired from competition in 2007 to pursue a career as a chiropractor, though he still performs in trampoline demonstrations.
- On December 22, 2007, he married his fellow-Olympian and former training partner Karen Cockburn.
