- Édgar Silva (born Édgar Arturo Silva Loáiciga on October, 1967 in Liberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica) is a Costa Rican journalist who works for Teletica, the largest TV station in Costa Rica.. He is known for been the major referent of journalism of his country. His major role in the station since November 1998 has been co-hosting daily-morning show "Buen Día" with Adriana Durán, as well as hosting the New Year's-coming show "El Chinamo" for the last couple of years.
- He is also known as "El Flaco" (the thin guy) Silva, after his body shape (see Marfan syndrome).
