Boys (born 7 December 1970 in Royal Leamington Spa, England) is a British academic and media consultant who focuses on aspects of American history and political life in the late twentieth century.
Born in Warwickshire, he read American Studies, History and Politics for his Honours Degree at the University of Northampton.
He holds a master's degree from the University of London’s Institute of United States Studies gained under the guidance of Robert McGeehan.
He completed his PhD in the Evolution and Execution of US Foreign Policy in the 1990s at the University of Birmingham under the tutelage of Scott Lucas, author of Freedom’s War.
He is an associate professor of international political studies and at Richmond, The American International University in London, where he also serves as director of the International Relations Postgraduate Degree Program.
He is a senior research fellow at the Global Policy Institute in London.
