About Jean-Nicolas Beauregard
- Jean-Nicolas Beauregard (born Metz, Lorraine, France 4 December 1733, died Gröningen, Germany, 27 July 1804) was a Jesuit preacher, pulpit orator and émigré priest following the French revolution, when he fled to London. His works consist of sermons and letters in manuscript form, however, a collection of his sermons, made by one of his hearers, was first printed at Paris in 1820, often reprinted, and later embodied in Migne's "Orateurs Sacrés", vol.
