About Jimmy Wilkes
- James Eugene "Seabiscuit" Wilkes (October 1, 1925 – August 11, 2008) was an outfielder in Negro league baseball.
- He played between 1945 and 1952.
- For the next two seasons he played in the Brooklyn Dodgers organization. In 1954, he signed with the Brantford Red Sox, and played 10 seasons.
- In five of those seasons, the Red Sox were Inter-County champions.
