About John Greco (philosopher)
- John Greco is an American philosopher.
- He is the Leonard and Elizabeth Eslick Chair in Philosophy at Saint Louis University.
- Greco received his Ph.D.
- from Brown University in 1989, where he studied under Ernest Sosa, and his AB from Georgetown University in 1983.
- His research interests are in epistemology and metaphysics and he has published widely on virtue epistemology, epistemic normativity, skepticism, and Thomas Reid.
- He is the Editor of American Philosophical Quarterly.
- For 2013-15, together with Eleonore Stump, he holds a $3.3 million grant from the John Templeton Foundation for a project on intellectual humility.
