- John Clifford Moffet (born July 27, 1964) is an American former competition swimmer who competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California.
- At the 1984 Olympics, he finished fifth in the final of the men's 100-meter breaststroke event.
- He had his best year in 1985, winning three gold medals at both the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships and the Summer Universiade. Moffet is a three-time Primetime Emmy Award winner for The Amazing Race.
