Jon Steel (born 14 March 1980) is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the Super League for Hull Kingston Rovers, and in the Championship for Featherstone Rovers.
He is a former rugby union player who represented his country at youth level before switching codes in 2005.
Following Hull KR's promotion, Steel was expected to play a big part in their first Super League season but was unfortunate to suffer a badly broken leg after only a handful of games and was ruled out for most of the year as a result.
