Kyaw Hein (Burmese: ?????????? [t??` hé??]; born Kyaw Htay (???????? on 14 July 1947) is a five-time Myanmar Academy Award winning Burmese film actor, film director, and singer.
He has starred in hundreds of films, directed several films, and was considered one of the most important actors in Burmese cinema.
However, in 2008, on his 61st birthday, he announced he would retire from the film industry to live as a Theravada Buddhist monk.
