Luke Bailey (born 5 January 1980) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer of the 2000s and 2010s.
An Australian national and New South Wales State of Origin representative front row forward, he played his club football in the National Rugby League for the St George Illawarra Dragons and Gold Coast Titans.
Bailey was originally a junior of the Shellharbour Sharks club before signing for the Illawarra Steelers as a teenager prior to their merger with the St.
George Dragons in 1999.
After debuting in 2000 he went on to make a further one hundred and nineteen appearances for the Dragons before becoming newly formed National Rugby League franchise Gold Coast Titans' second signing for their inaugural 2007 season.
Bailey and Scott Prince were named as co-captains.
Bailey was the first person to score a try on Skilled Park at the Gold Coast once it was built for the home games of the Gold Coast Titans.
