- He was the General Secretary of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee.
- He was born to Krishnan Nambiar and Janaki Amma on 21 April 1952 at Payyannur, Kerala. Currently he was selected as Chairman, Divisional Railway Committee of Palakkad Division. In 2019 he was caught demanding bribes and confessing to other crimes during a sting operation conducted by Tv9 bharatvarsh.
