- He played in the Victorian Football League (VFL) for Port Melbourne and in the WAFL for Perth and Subiaco.
- He serves as an assistant coach at Fremantle after previously being a premiership winning senior coach for Claremont.
- He is the husband of Fremantle AFL Women's player Lisa Webb.
