- Maurice Green was an Anglo-Indian photographer, born on 21 January 1931 in Simla, British India.
- He was the second child of Alfred Green (10 April 1907 - 2 October 1979) a Guardsman to King George V and later Captain in the Army of India and Priti Varma (15 June 1910 - 30 March 1980) who came from a family of merchants.
