About Michael Paul Welch
- Michael Paul Welch (born 8 September 1962) is a performer/producer from Barbados.
- He was born in Yorkshire, England & moved to the Caribbean when he was just 6 years old.
- Michael has been performing in & out of Barbados for almost three decades.He has worked with quite a few artist both on the stage and in the studio as a producer/writer.He released his first solo project "Ready Or Not"in 2010.
- Despite the lack of airplay by the local stations in Barbados on some other projects,it has never hurt his enthusiasm and dedication to what he has done for a lifetime- making music !' "Strange enough, I get more kudos for my work outside of Barbados,...I perform in the tourism sector of the country which is an audience that hardly include locals"..he says.

- MPW is working on his sophomore album entitled "Dangerous" due for 2017 release.He has four children,3 boys and a girl .He is also a passionate of the game cricket and supports the West Indies cricket team.
