About Murkot Kunhappa

  • Murkoth Kunhappa was a bureaucrat-turned-journalist, born on May 14, 1905 as eldest son of Moorkoth Kumaran.
  • Kunhappa's was a dominant presence in the State's cultural scene when he served Malayala Manorama, a leading Malayalam daily, from 1966 until his demise in 1993.
  • He had been an Associate Editor of this newspaper for 27 years.
  • Just like his father, he was also a follower of Sree Narayana Gurudeva.
  • He has written many books including Sree Narayana Guru (National biography) (in Malayalam, Tamil, English).
