Tomáš Kaberle (Czech pronunciation: ['toma?? 'kab?rl?]; born March 2, 1978) is a Czech former professional ice hockey defenceman.
He played in the National Hockey League (NHL), most notably for the Toronto Maple Leafs, as well as for the Boston Bruins, with whom he won the Stanley Cup, Carolina Hurricanes and the Montreal Canadiens.
Kaberle also played in the Czech Extraliga for HC Kladno and HC Kometa Brno.
A four-time NHL All-Star, Kaberle also played for the Czech national team and won a bronze medal with the team at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Kaberle is currently the second-highest scoring defenceman in Maple Leafs franchise history, behind only Börje Salming.
Though Kaberle began and played most of his career with Toronto, it was only after he was traded to the Boston Bruins he won his first Stanley Cup.
Kaberle's older brother František has also played as a defenceman in the NHL, and their father, František, Sr., played for the Czechoslovakia national team in the 1970s and '80s.
