- Oliver Raymond Harms (December 11, 1901 in Cole Camp, Missouri – June 3, 1980 in Houston, Texas) was the seventh president of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) from 1962 to 1969.Oliver Harms was a 1926 graduate of Concordia Seminary, St.
- Louis.
- He served as pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Eden, Texas from 1926 to 1935.
- In 1935, he became pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Houston, Texas, where he succeeded John W.
- Benhken. Harms served as a vice-president of the Texas District from 1939–1948, and as president from 1948 to 1950.
- From 1941 to 1947 he was a member of the Board of Electors of Concordia Seminary, St.
- Louis.
