About Gennady Grushevoy
- Gennady Grushevoy (Belarusian language: ??????? ???????, Hienadz Hrušavy 24 July 1950 – 28 January 2014) was a professor of philosophy at the Belarusian State University from 1973 until his death in 2014.
- He was elected to the Supreme Soviet of Belarus in 1990 and was a member of the Belarusian Popular Front.
- He was the Chairman of the board of the Children of Chernobyl from its inception in 1989.
- Grushevoy was the 1999 recipient of the Rafto Prize.
