- Paul Thompson (born November 30, 1988) is an American ice hockey forward who is currently Captain of the Springfield Thunderbirds in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract with the Florida Panthers organization of the National Hockey League (NHL).
- In the 2010–11 he was the Hockey East player of the year, led the Hockey East in scoring, and led the nation in power play goals while playing with the University of New Hampshire.
