- McCormack is a two-time winner of the Ironman World Championship, winning the titles in 2007 and 2010.
- He is also the winner of the 1997 International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Cup Series, the 1997 Triathlon World Championships, and the 2012 Long Distance World Championships.
