His primary instrument is the saxophone (tenor, soprano, alto, and baritone).
He is also a member of Prodigal Posse, an Eastern Caribbean diaspora band in Dominica that performs worldwide.
He is the son of son of Luqman Abdul-Malik and Nana Bomani.
