About Simon Weatherstone
- Simon Weatherstone (born 26 January 1980 in Reading, Berkshire, England) is an English former footballer, who last played for Eastbourne Borough in the Conference National.
- The player started off his career as a striker but in recent times has reverted to a central midfield position. Weatherstone started his career at Oxford United along with his brother Ross.
- He eventually left the club in February 2001, along with his brother Ross and went on to play for Boston United, Simon played a pivotal role in getting Boston United promoted to the Football League & winning the National Conference League in 2002.
- He scored an 84th-minute penalty on the last day of the 2009/2010 season to keep Eastbourne in the Conference.Weatherstone was released towards the end of the 2010/2011 season.
- He is currently First Team Coach at AFC Bournemouth.
