Steve Papermaster (born September 27, 1958) is an American entrepreneur, health and technology innovator, author and global speaker.
He is Chairman and CEO of Nano, a company focused on dramatically accelerating the development of cures for global health threats.Papermaster was appointed by President George W.
Bush to serve on the United States President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST).
Under President Bush, he also served as a member of the China-US Strategic Economic Dialogue(SED), and is currently co-Chairperson of the Joint US-China Collaboration on Clean Energy (JUCCCE).He is also the co-founder and current board member of Moxie Software, where he served as chairman and CEO from 2007 until March 2010.
Papermaster has also served or is currently serving as CEO of Powershift Ventures.Papermaster is a 1996 recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards and has served as a judge for the national and worldwide competition since 1997.
