- Benoît Pierre David Assou-Ekotto (born 24 March 1984) is a professional footballer who plays as a left back. Assou-Ekotto began his career at Lens and in 2006 was signed by Tottenham Hotspur.
- He became a first-team regular for the Premier League side, totalling 200 appearances across all competitions.
- He was loaned to Queens Park Rangers in 2013 and released in 2015, after which he joined Saint-Étienne. Despite being born in France, Assou-Ekotto represented Cameroon at international level, participating in two FIFA World Cup tournaments.
