About Thomas Bjerk

  • Thomas Bjerk (born 23 January 1985) is a Norwegian football midfielder who plays for Skjetten. He first came into the spotlight when he scored the goal that secured the Norway Cup victory for Lillestrøm's junior team in 2003.
  • At that time he had already spent time on loan at the senior team of Sørumsand IF.
  • He eventually made his way into Lillestrøm's senior B team, playing in the Norwegian Second Division.
  • Also, he got one Norwegian Premier League game in 2004, without scoring.
  • By then he was the fourth generation of his family to play first-team football for Lillestrøm.In the summer of 2005 he was transferred to Ullensaker/Kisa IL together with Mato Grubisic.
  • He later played in Skjetten SK during their victorious 2007 Third Division campaign.
  • After spending the 2008 season in Gjerdrum IL, he returned to Skjetten in 2009.
  • After the season, he went on to Flisbyen BK.
  • He was not on the roster for the 2011 season because of studies.
  • I 2013 he was home from Australia and rejoined Skjetten.
