- Lewis Hugh Clifford, 13th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh, and The Honourable Katharine Vavasseur Fisher.
- Through his mother he is a great-grandson of Admiral of the Fleet The 1st Baron Fisher. He was educated at Downside School.
