- Brisson played for the Canadian National women's ice hockey team from 1993 to 2005.
- Brisson was the second oldest member of Team Canada’s gold medal winning team at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
- She competed for Canada at the World Championships in 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2001.
