Blessed Raphaël Rafiringa (3 November 1856 – 19 May 1919) – born Firinga and Raphaël-Louis as a religious – was a Roman Catholic professed religious from the Madagascar who served as a member of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools and served in his nation at a time when foreign missionaries were expelled.
Rafiringa was born into a tribe but turned to the Christian faith and was baptized during his adolescence.Rafiringa was beatified on 7 June 2009; Archbishop Angelo Amato presided over the beatification on the behalf of Pope Benedict XVI.
