  • Arie Slob (Dutch pronunciation: ['a?ri 'sl?p]; born 16 November 1961) is a Dutch politician and history teacher serving as Minister for Primary and Secondary Education and Media in the Third Rutte cabinet since 26 October 2017. A member of the Christian Union (CU), he was a member of the House of Representatives from 19 November 2002 until 1 December 2015.
  • From 28 April 2011 to 10 November 2015, he was also party leader and parliamentary leader, in both positions succeeding AndrĂ© Rouvoet.
  • He focused on matters of the Royal House, security, constitutional rights, infrastructure and fishery.
