- Joseph Eugene Ransdell (October 7, 1858 – July 27, 1954) was an attorney and politician from Louisiana.
- Beginning in 1899, he was elected for seven consecutive terms as United States representative from Louisiana's 5th congressional district.
- He subsequently served for three terms in the United States Senate from Louisiana before being defeated in the 1930 Democratic primary for the seat by Governor Huey Long.
